Principia Partners Appoints Andrew Vickers as Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer
Jersey City, NJ - 29 July, 2005 - Principia Partners, a leading
provider of advanced end-to-end processing solutions for
the structured finance and capital markets/treasury markets, has
appointed Andrew
Vickers as its new Executive Vice President and Chief Technology
Officer. In this role, Andrew is responsible for furthering
the development and execution of the Company's technology vision
and
roadmap. He has been charged with management of the product
architecture, application development and information technology
teams supporting
the Principia System.
Andrew comes to Principia after a 7-year career at FNX Limited where he was Executive Managing Director and CTO. There, he was responsible for several major technology initiatives, including the implementation of the scalability and reliability features of the system’s client-server architecture and ASP solution.
Prior to FNX, Andrew was with ABN-AMRO Bank where he was project manager responsible for a multi-site global FX Options trading system and network. In addition, Andrew had several years experience as an FX options trader as Deputy Head of FX Options trading at ABN-AMRO and at Continental Illinois National Bank. Andrew has a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College, University of London.
